Schedule your mammogram a week after your period, when your breasts are less tender. Avoid booking during or right before your menstrual cycle to minimize discomfort. If you experience significant breast tenderness, consider scheduling your mammogram during days 7–12 of your menstrual cycle, when estrogen levels are lower. You may also benefit from reducing caffeine intake the week prior to your appointment.

3. Wear Comfortable Clothing

Opt for a two-piece outfit. This will allow you to undress easily from the waist up for the procedure.
